Transfinger Piercing

Transfinger Piercing

Transfinger Piercing in several ways the pad of a finger has similarities to an earlobe basically just skin covering some greasy filler tissue.

In almost all of the finger this is difficult by nerves and tendons, but in the final joint, not only is the bone recessed and thinner, but the tendons and other necessary "don't mess around near me" anatomy isn't as present, making a transfinger piercing more credible.

Transfinger Piercing placement

A deep placement in this area can make allowance for a piercing of the hand that's far less susceptible to refusal than other finger, webbing, and surface piercings. Not enough examples of this piercing have been done to assert exactly what its healing times and success rates are, but any one trying it should remember that by definition this location is going to come in touch with much more foreign bacteria and pollutants and irritants generally than an ordinary piercing.

This could of course complicate and slow the healing. The example above, by Matt Bruce in Victoria BC, was pierced without complication and seemed to be healing well over the 1st month in which it was monitored. Thats all about Transfinger Piercing
